Capula Investment Management hired Ivan Chee as a portfolio manager in New York. He focuses on mortgage and credit strategies and joins from Millennium, with previous experience at Squarepoint, Premium Point, and Morgan Stanley.

ExodusPoint Capital hired Bryan Bartlett as a PM focused on consumer equities in New York. He previously held roles at Balyasny, Citadel, and Point72.

FirstWave Capital appointed Justin Pollock as chief business officer. Pollock previously co-founded Aramas Capital and held roles at Islet Capital, Verition, and Kingdon.

Jain Global has added Gregoire Thomas as a PM in Hong Kong. Thomas joins from Candriam and previously worked at Millennium, Bank of America, and Société Générale.

Kodai Capital co-founder Neville Shah has joined Millennium’s equity team in a senior role following the firm’s closure.

Millennium Management hired Jay Zhou as a senior systematic PM in New York. Zhou joins from Point72’s Cubist and previously worked at AQR, AllianceBernstein, and Morgan Stanley.

Millennium Management added Corey Friedberg as global head of fixed-income financing. Friedberg joins from Morgan Stanley where he was MD and head of North America client-financing trading.

North Rock Capital hired Yitong Gao as a PM in Hong Kong. Gao previously spent seven years as an equities analyst at Marshall Wace.

Saba Capital Management is expanding into systematic trading with two senior hires. Co-founder Jeremy Benkiewicz returns from Millennium, while Kieran Goodwin becomes Partner to lead quant credit efforts.

Verition Fund Management hired Mike Siswan as head of technology for long/short equity. He joins from Kodai Capital and previously spent 11 years at Citadel.

Walleye Capital hired quant portfolio manager Alex Rubino in New York. Rubino briefly worked at Squarepoint and previously held roles at GTS, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs.
